HELP TERA HANDS SUPPORT UNDERPRIVILEGED AND HOMELESS FAMILIES!
Our Vision
Our goal is to provide individuals with the most basic needs with dignity. We hope to improve the health, hygiene and well-being of people experiencing homelessness and under-privileged families.
Tera Hands is an initiative to help homeless women and underprivileged families by providing hygiene bags, which include soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, sanitary napkins, tampons and wipes.
Our Story
13 "Tera" Hands is inspired by the teachings of Guru Nanak who realized all of humanity as a manifestation of Vaheguru. We are driven by the beliefs that everyone and everything is a part of Vaheguru, that nothing is yours or mine, and that our hands will act as instruments of seva for Vaheguru's creation.
Our Impact
To date, thanks to our dedicated volunteers, donors and partner organizations, Tera Hands has distributed over 10,000 hygiene kits throughout California. Please see our project updates to read more.
With your help, we will continue to expand our efforts to provide access to hygiene products that will improve the safety and health of homeless individuals. We will provide hygiene products including soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, sanitary napkins, tampons and wipes.

Get Involved
If you would like to do a similar outreach at your local shelter or food pantry, please contact us. We will provide you with the material for packages and you will be able to distribute the hygiene packages.
Help us make this project successful
Each care package is currently $2.50 per kit.
Lasting Impact
Currently, we distribute 100+ hygiene care packages each month at 2-3 homeless shelters in San Franisco Bay area, and provide hygiene packages at food pantries in Los Angeles, CA. Our goal is to fund, collect, and distribute 100+ hygiene care packages each month in various homeless communities and food pantries throughout California.
