Camp Sikh Virsa is biannual Sikh youth camp that has been in existence since 1994 serving the Sikh community mainly in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. We host camps every Thanksgiving and Memorial Day weekends.
Our Mission
Camp Sikh Virsa aims to inspire and motivate Sikh youth to follow the path of the Guru, while building the necessary foundation to become an active member of the Panth.
Dedicated to igniting the flame of the Sikh Spirit amongst future generations, Camp Sikh Virsa continues the tradition of using community-driven education and service to create future leaders and sevadaars in the Sikh community and beyond.

Our Interactive & Enriching Approach
What makes our camp unique is that it is solely focused on children aged 7 to 14. We spend 23 months prior to each camp creating new, fresh lesson plans designed to keep our youngest Sikh brothers and sisters engaged by minimizing lecture and utilizing games and activities to keep their attention.

Sponsoring Campers
Because we don't ever want cost to be the reason a family can not send their child to camp, we have not increased our registration fees, despite rising campsite costs over the last 20+ years. Along with sponsoring kids from low income families, we also subsidize the cost of our counselors, most of which are high school and college students.
