IIGS has been serving the Khalsa Panth for the past 6+ decades.

When one mentions International Institute of Gurmat Studies (IIGS), one generally talks about the melodious Kirtan, Gurmat Vichar, Naam Simran or meditation sessions, learning about Sikh Faith, History and Culture, Interactive sessions, D.O.S.T (Discussion of Sikh Things) Sessions, Gurmat Schools, Kesh Darshan Parade, International Youth Camps all around the world and events like Darbar-E-Khalsa. 

Our Programs

Education Scholarships: Sikh students pursuing college education can apply for IIGS scholarship. To date, more than $50,000 has been given in scholarships to deserving Sikh students throughout North America.

Pioneering International Sikh Youth Camping Movement: IIGS is prominent world wide for its historic role of pioneering the International Sikh Youth Camping Movement worldwide. To date, IIGS has organized 120+ youth, family, mother's camps along with scores of weekend and day camps in four continents. 

Darbar-E-Khalsa: 38 years of celebrations: IIGS has been organizing  Darbar-E-Khalsa with an unparalleled mix of reverence, pomp, grandeur, punctuality, devotion that the number of attendees has grown from 700+ in 1986 to 15,000+ in the last 37 years. The function is organized annually by International Institute of Gurmat Studies, Inc (IIGS) with the support and cooperation of all the Sikh Gurdwaras and organizations of Southern California.

Darbar-E-Khalsa Live on December 25, 2023 at LA Fairgrounds, Pomona: Great News:Darbar-E-Khalsa will be held live at LA Fairgrounds, Pomona. Address of the location is 1101 W. McKinley Ave, Pomona, CA 91768. Gate number 17 and Building 6. 

Weekly Virtual Global Dewans: Since June of 2020, IIGS has been organizing virtual global dewans. Todate, 150+ programs have been organized. These virtual dewans happen every 1st and 3rd saturday of the month. Timings are:  6:30 pm - 8:00 pm (PST). Again, you can join via www.youtube.com/iigscalling, IIGS Facebook page or Zoom. 

Sukhmani Sahib Series: With Waheguru ji's grace, IIGS has started Sukhmani Sahib Series. Under this, a new speaker covers one Astpadi a month and also shares her/his personal understanding of the bani along with the meanings.
