This project's aim is to provide users with the ability to save settings across all Khalis products. "Save Settings" is a priority for Khalis because it is the first step in creating a platform that unifies all of our apps and projects. In addition, it allows users to have greater customization and control over the settings. Furthermore, it unlocks other projects that will grow Khalis as a platform and will also improve user retention because users will have more control and personalized experience with the apps/websites.
"Save Settings" is one of the most requested features from users. We get multiple requests a month.
"Save Settings" is not a website or an app. It is a feature and the vision is to have this setting available across all Khalis apps and websites. "Save Settings" will allow the user to change devices and still be able to save gurbani settings, favorite shabads, display settings as long as the user is logged in. Funds will go towards hiring a developer, who can update SSO api to allow for storing settings in a scaleable way.
Although this project is not live yet, we have full confidence that Khalis will be able to meet all of the necessary goals to make "Save Settings" a success. Khalis has a history of following through on tech projects. We have a large, dedicated volunteer base that has experience in creating and updating novel features. Last, we have experience in making tech more scaleable.
