Since 2018, Sanjhi Sikhiya has been working towards bringing systemic change within Punjab's public education system. We partner closely with both state and district governments and our programs reach over 500 schools and 40,000 students across Punjab, with a primary focus on enhancing teaching-learning methodologies and increasing community ownership.
Our district-level initiatives are spearheaded by fellows of the Punjab Youth Leaders Program (PYLP), a two-year leadership development program for young individuals. PYLP empowers youth to contribute to Punjab's development while refining their own leadership skills.
Our impact is scaled up throughout the district through policy advocacy, dissemination of exemplary teaching practices among educators, and the organization of collaborative events to strengthen engagement among key stakeholders.

We have an able team of 80 individuals, who are well-equipped to meet the vision of Sanjhi Sikhiya. The team comprises young professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, including education, public policy, and community development. This blend of skills enables them to approach challenges from multiple angles and develop comprehensive solutions. Since its inception in 2018, Sanjhi Sikhiya has demonstrated its ability to drive impactful change in Punjab's education sector. Through initiatives like the Punjab Youth Leaders Program (PYLP) and Punjab Education Collective(PEC), the organization has successfully empowered youth leaders and improved educational outcomes in rural areas. Sanjhi Sikhiya has successfully forged strengthened partnerships with Punjab's education department, as well as other similar organizations working in Punjab. These partnerships enhance the organization's reach and impact, enabling them to leverage resources and expertise effectively. The organization's focus on community engagement is a key strength.
