Cumulative distribution passed **$15M+** since inception.

## Leadership transition

2023 saw DVN welcome a new **Executive Director, Amrita Bamrah**, a first-generation Sikh American leader, along with two new board members — part of a year of investment in staff, operations, marketing, and partnerships.

## Platform & donors

The platform reached **13,000 total users**, added **850 new recurring monthly donations** (avg. $30/month), and averaged 3.5 transactions per user. Organizations raised an average of **$31K** each, with 55 new organizations and projects joining.

## Initiative highlights

**DasvandhWeek 2023** hit a milestone — a 10-day campaign securing **$1 million in pledges for 80+ organizations**, the largest global Sikh digital fundraiser. DVN also mobilized dasvandh for six partners providing **Punjab flood relief** in July 2023, and ran 10+ activist collaboration campaigns and virtual DasvandhSeries events.

## In their words

The Sikh Human Development Fund and The Seva Collective credited DVN with expanding their reach — noting each $550 raised funds a year of scholarship for a student in Punjab.

## Financials

Operating income (~$347,661) was led by board contributions (72%) and tip revenue (18%); expenses (~$401,013) were led by salaries (59%) and marketing (20%), with the difference met from cash reserves.

## Team & board

The report profiles staff and interns and a **21-member board** that granted **$565,000 to 7 nonprofits** at its Minneapolis annual meeting, alongside 2024 goals to raise $2.6M on-platform and grow new-donor acquisition.
