Suicide by farmers and farm labourers is rife in rural Punjab. The families were poor before loss of the breadwinner and utterly destitute afterwards. The only hope is if the children can get minimum educational qualification and find employment. The Baba Nanak Educational Society
Ensures that sons and daughters of suicide victims stay in school at least up to 12th Grade by financially assisting their families.
Providing higher education beyond graduation level through college scholarships.
Updates from Baba Nanak Educational Society’s efforts, posted on a regular basis.
Projects are dedicated campaigns to support a specific initiative from the parent organization.
