Dear Pagri Supporters,
Pagri has made big strides in 2024 by expanding our activities for organic kitchen gardens among a few hundred farmers. We are going to be repeating our Desi Poultry activity by helping farmers but in a better way, with farmers having better capabilities to take care of the Desi chickens from the chick stage and also generate theri own chicks more by hatching.
Pagri is also espanding into Horticulture to help farmers diversify out of wheat and rice.
In 2025 we are forming a women's group that will focus on the empowerment of women and taking stpes to register a Pagri (India) organization as a sister group.
Other activities we are trying to develop are solid waste management in villages, setting up a role model for food processing (project) that can be replicated in other villages, and marketing Punjab's agrocultural products to the USA.
