More than just a platform, GAAVANI is a Movement to celebrate the Sikh female voice across the world as we continue to create spaces for Sikh women to claim their place in our musical and spiritual heritage. We believe in Empowerment through Kirtan, a musical journey and a divine gateway to discover Guru Nanak's treasured revelations, One Shabad at a Time.
This year, GAAVANI embarks on a historic journey to India, the land where Guru Nanak's divine mission began. Uniting 31 talented female kirtaniyas from USA, Canada & India, this multi-city Kirtan tour will honor the legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji along with the women who stood beside him to light a path of truth and spiritual awakening.

In 2022 & 2024, we've hosted two highly successful events in Fremont and Dallas, where GAAVANI received tremendous enthusiasm and support worldwide. The Sangat, both in-person and online, has been captivated by the experience. Some attendees have expressed their sentiments through poetry, while others have openly shared on social media about the profound impact these events had on them. Numerous requests have come in, requesting us to organize GAAVANI programs in various cities and countries. Between these 2 events, we grew our membership and online presence, launched our website, launched our YouTube channel, connected with several professional female kirtaniya's throughout the world to join our mission, developed partnerships with Sikh media organizations, professional Sikh artists and mainstream media outlets. The Dallas event was covered in the Dallas Morning News and the Associated Press is also interested in covering future events.
