2022 DVN Match Fund Update and Request

OUR GROWING IMPACT

As you know, you can establish a portfolio of giving on Dasvandh Network across numerous social causes rooted in transparency. Our vision continues to be for all Sikhs to give in support of high-impact activism aligned with Sikh values that are addressing challenges facing Sikhs and our broader communities. 

Thanks to your support, we’re continuing to grow our impact every year. Last year, we fundraised $2M for our 60+ partners! That was by far the strongest year we’ve had so far. The matching fund played a huge role for us to get there. In addition to campaigns we did throughout the year, we raised $500K in total donation pledges in DasvandhWeek alone.

DASVANDHWEEK 2021 PERFORMANCE

Our theme last year was “Amplify Your Giving”. In addition to the overall pledges, here are interesting stats that speak to the positive impact the fundraiser had:

• $500K in total pledges raised in 10 days 
• $3 raised for every $1 contributed to the match fund
• 51% growth in pledges in 2021 compared to 2020
• 50 organizations raised funds during the 10-day period
• 200+ recurring donations were set up

DASVANDHWEEK 2022 GOALS & REQUEST

This year, we want to demonstrate the POWER OF GIVING to our wider community. With support from match fund donors like you, we aim to raise $700,000 in pledged donations for our 60+ partners in the 10 days of DasvandhWeek 2022. 

To do so, can we count on your support again this year? Again, every dollar you contribute will be used by DVN to inspire an additional $3 from the wider sangat - a powerful opportunity to make a tremendous impact across the board.
