As we come to year end, it gives us a chance to reflect and review how far we've come. This year we served over 25,000 families worth of food. In addition we partnered with local community clinics and resources to help underserved communities get access to vaccines, resources, toys, food, winter warmth items and more. We navigated through unknown and uncertain food supplies and contracts as well. We came through it and are now serving on average of 4-500 families each week still.
The latest Covid numbers in LA County are concerning and we anticipate there will be an uptick in numbers for familes needing assistance.
In early December we held our annual Sharing and Caring event where we served over 1,000 families food, toys, and winter warmth bags.
We are grateful to our donors, community members and most importantly the volunteers that have dedicated countless hours to ensure the Khalsa food Pantry continues fighting food insecurity.

Updates from Khalsa Food Pantry’s efforts, posted on a regular basis.
