Khalsa Food Pantry is continuing its much needed work. We have recently applied for a financial grant through the Office of Congressman Brad Sherman who has supported the efforts of Khalsa Food Pantry as well as the Southern California Sikh community for decades.
Last month, one of our devoted volunteers organized an event for elementary school students at Polytechnic School in Pasadena, CA to assemble Khalsa Kits. These are hygiene kits that will be donated to the residents of Tiny Home Village - an organization that provides temporary housing to homeless individuals. A total of 600 kits will be donated.
