Udaari is an organization uplifting the future of Sikh youth through exposure and mentorship. We help Sikh students apply to college through 1-1 mentorship, admissions workshops, and college fairs. Additionally, we host workshops with Sikh role models across a variety of fields—doctors, lawyers, CEOs, etc—so Sikh youth can learn about their professional and personal stories.
Currently, we are fundraising for our Udaari To College program. Funds will help support our 1-1 mentorship, allow us to offer free SAT classes to students, and organize more in-person events like college fairs and campus visits.
We connect Sikh high schoolers for year-long 1-1 mentorship with Sikh college students at universities like Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Brown, MIT. Our mentors work with high school sophomores and juniors to build a strong applicant profile and work with seniors to craft a compelling application and write moving essays. This year, our mentees are attending universities like Stanford, Harvard, NYU Stern, UIUC, and more! We are excited to grow the program next year.
Yes, Udaari is run by Sikh students at top universities—including Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, Berkeley, USC, CMU and more. We already had great success with our first year of college mentorship and our team is excited to continue to iterate and grow to help cultivate the next generation of panthic leaders.
