What We Do

Naad Pargaas strives to forge a Shabd inspired culture. Conceptualization of Shabd Philosophy has remained central to our efforts to foster reflective faculties. In this age where intellectual exercises govern faculties of civilization, academic discourses and research have become the vehicles of shaping holistic understanding of mankind’s collective spiritual journeys.

We undertake academic discourses and promote research to help forge reflective faculties. Naad Pargaas undertakes research in epistemological and aesthetic domains to engage in the conceptualization of Naam – Sabda Philosophy. We delve into diverse domains of education to enunciate Sabda inspired knowledge systems.

To envisage the blossoming experience of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in all sacred traditions of the world and hence search for the ‘transparent metaphysics.’

To outline academic idiom inspired by Shabad-Naam relationship embracing the philosophical and literary traditions of the world.

Our Goals

To foster a civilizational model in our contemporary age, we undertake efforts to revitalize Sikh aesthetics and Sikh scholarship. We understand the role of aesthetics in enlightening our cultural vision and refining human sensibilities through creative and enriching higher vision. Simultaneously the role of scholarship remains central to engage critically in historical unfolding of religious tradition.

Naad Pargaas Sri Amritsar, Punjab

Naad Pargaas has also been operative in Sri Amritsar, Punjab for the past fifteen years. To accomplish our vision, we conduct an annual literature festival, periodic seminars, book discussions, painting exhibitions, poetry sessions (Kavi Darbars), and conferences. We pursue the study of world philosophy in a bid to understand the thought processes that underpin contemporary scholarly discourses. We encourage and support students in undertaking rigorous studies in multiple domains (philosophy, social sciences, natural sciences, art, language, and literature). Students undertaking Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctorate programs from various universities across North India regularly contribute to the activities of Naad Pargaas. We provide lodging facilities with access to our library to such students to enable them to conduct research in their respective fields. 

Our Journey 

Naad Pargaas continues to be on a journey to publish significant intellectual, creative, and research-based works. The organization promotes learning in different classical languages and conducts classes in Persian. 

Naad Pargaas USA is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization and all contributions made to it are tax-deductible. We rely on Sangat’s contributions to be able to embark upon the above pursuits in the context of the Western Sikh society.
