ਊੜੇ ਤੇ ਜੂੜੇ ਵਾਲ਼ਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ

Dear Friends,

For many years I have been writing updates on this wall on our project "Engage Punjab" for you to read and know that your contributions are making a difference. However, these are one-way letters. I am not sure if you read them, if our work means anything to you, or if it means so much that you want to share your thoughts, your dreams of Punjab, your input on how we can see ਊੜੇ ਤੇ ਜੂੜੇ ਵਾਲ਼ਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ one more time -- a Punjab that prides in both the Punjabi language, its rich culture and wisdom, and the Sikh ethos. 

As I brainstorm with my team on creating a new component for this project this year, I want you to write to me with your ideas on what would you like to happen with our books in Punjab and how you can support us.

I am sharing a couple of pictures from the field that brought me tremendous joy. You see it is hard to see even one JooRha in government schools these days, which are full of immigrant children. Here when I saw two, I was thrilled. I am a person of hope and I hope you will help me profuse our homeland with the love of Punjabi and Sikhi.
