I am sharing these beautiful pictures from a recent school engagement (GPS Loha Kedi in district Patiala). They speak a thousand words to me, and I hope they do to you as well. 

With Dasvandh Week around the corner, I am happy to share another piece of great news with you. After five years of hard work, I am ready to bring into your hands the Fascinating Folktales of Punjab 9  -- Tales of Taya and Tayee. 

Unlike the last eight books, which highlight animal characters in the lead and bring to you stories from ancient times, this book brings to life the human characters of agrarian Punjab and the folk stories commonly associated with this lifestyle. These tales have been passed on in Punjab for generations; only the names and places change. This book includes two dictionaries at the end: one, a visual dictionary about over two hundred artifacts from Punjab, and the other of about the same number of idioms and proverbs used in this text. These resources will prove to be valuable in bringing children and adults closer to the land and language of Punjab in a playful way. 

We are also planning to print this 130-page book in Punjab to include in our Engage Punjab project, and for that, we need your help.
