Nishakm TV's Baywatana team has now travelled to the UK, Vancouver, New York, and India to meet and interview Afghan refugee families who have been displaced from Afghanistan. Additionally, the team has had the opportunity to talk to organizations who have helped minority families move out of Afghanistan. Currently, the team is in the process of interviewing scholars and experts for the documentary, to shed light on the overall situation and bring more awareness of the topic to the audience of the film.
The Baywatana Team has completed 95% of production and is now in a post-production phase - organizing footage, transcribing interviews, searching through web archives for relevant clips, speaking with experts, composing music, and editing the footage to create the documenatry.
The draft version of the documentary is due by July 17th and first documenatry screening is schduled on August 15th at 10:30 AM EST, at the 2023 Parliament of the World's Religions conferece in Chicago USA, www.parliamentofreligions.org.
