Gurjeet Singh Nijjar
Detained by the authorities in Cyprus and questioned under the watchful eye of the National Investigation Agency of India, Gurjeet Singh Nijjar was eventually put on a plane and deported.
His wife Rajwant Kaur told Sikh Relief that he was arrested and was taken into custody upon his arrival at Delhi's International Airport 22nd December 2020, he was questioned by the NIA and swiftly taken to Mumbai before eventually being transferred to the custody of the Panjab Police 21st February.
A whirlwind 2 months of darkness, confusion, unfounded allegations, deportation, more accusations and finally being incarcerated at the Ludhiana Jail facility, finds the family of Gurjeet Singh facing the disturbing uncertainty of what will happen to them in the absence of the sole breadwinner of their home.
Whilst Sikh Relief is providing monthly family support to Gurjeet Singh, we are appeal to the Guru Piyari Sadh Sangat Ji to help fight his on going cases in Panjab and Mombi .
