~ Arvinder Singh Mitha is free at last
Sikh Relief is happy to share the news with everyone that Bhai Arvinder Singh aka Mitha Singh has been released from prison today.
He was sentenced to a life sentence in 2020, having been convicted of waging war against the Union States of India without any evidence beyond the possession of books and pictures of historical significance in relation to Sikhi, the current Sikh struggle and the biographies of prominent Sikhs.
Sikh Relief’s Sevadar and lawyer, Parminder Singh Amloh, and Adv Kulwinder Kaur were present to receive him along with Arvinder Singh's mother.
